Right Here

The joy that peace brings is unspeakable
When I finally realize You’ve been here all the time
The freedom that’s here is unbelievable
Right in the middle of my mess I’ve become aware of You and my enemy seems so insignificant next to You.

You’ve prepared a meal for me in the midst of my conflict
You’ve calmed my soul and led me to rest
I’m more aware of Your nature than ever before
My Good shepherd, my Father, my Friend that didn’t leave when I got scared
When I let You down because of my lack of faith
When I let You down because of my sinful nature
When I disobeyed and acted selfish…You never left me
Instead You protect me, provide for me, change me and grow me

It feels so much lighter, this yoke You gave me…my spirit of heaviness is gone
This garment of praise You’ve given me fits perfectly and allows me to dance freely in the joy of Your salvation. Wonderful God, I owe You everything.

Tomorrow I will seek You. I will pray fervently for vision, direction, and passion for Your will. No matter what today holds, tomorrow will be the same. No matter where You lead me today, tomorrow I will seek You.

I am humbled in Your presence oh God. In this place where You’ve revealed Yourself to me, I am humbled. Oh how I long to live and dwell in this place forever; in this place of freedom and joy and peace that I can hardly comprehend. Please let me stay here God.
